Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome at both our Dearborn and Detroit locations during normal clinic hours.
Do I need an appointment for urgent care?
No appointment or referral is needed for urgent care. Simply walk in. If you'd like to check how busy a clinic is, give them a call before you head over.
Does Elite Health offer primary care?
Yes. We offer primary care for routine checkups, preventive care and ongoing health management. Learn about primary care.
Can I choose Elite Health for my PCP?
Many patients do. Request a primary care appointment at either location. If your health plan requires you to select a PCP, call the clinic first so our staff can help confirm the details with your plan.
Does Elite Health offer weight-loss care?

Do you treat children?
Yes. Pediatric care is available at both locations, including walk-in care for common childhood illnesses and minor injuries.
Do you offer online visits?
Yes, for eligible patients and conditions. Some concerns require an in-person exam, and your provider will let you know if you need to come in. Learn about online care.
What insurance do you accept?
Coverage depends on your specific plan. Please call your preferred location to verify insurance participation, benefits and payment options before your visit. If you don't have insurance, call and our staff will help.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring a photo ID, your insurance card if you have one, a list of your current medications and allergies, and a form of payment. For a child's visit, bring the child's insurance card and any school forms that need to be completed.
Which Elite Health location should I visit?
Visit whichever clinic is most convenient: Dearborn on Ford Rd or Detroit on Vernor Hwy. If you're returning for primary care or weight loss, you may prefer to stay with the location where you started.
What are your hours?
Detroit (Vernor Hwy): Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–7:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, closed Sunday. Please call the Dearborn clinic at (313) 633-1999 for its current hours. Holiday hours may vary, so calling ahead is always a good idea.
When should I go to the emergency room instead of urgent care?
Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room for any potentially life-threatening emergency. Urgent care is not a substitute for emergency services.
Examples include chest pain or pressure, difficulty breathing, signs of stroke (face drooping, arm weakness, trouble speaking), severe bleeding, serious head injuries, loss of consciousness, seizures, severe burns, and severe allergic reactions.
